The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at 7:30 P.M. �I
in Recessed Regular Session, Recessed from Regular Leeting of Lay 9, 1940,
at the Regular Meeting Place in the City Hall, the following members thereof
being present, to -wit:
Mayor C E Slaton, Commissioners "S B Trice, j G 14-1c1illan, Hub Jones,
Garland Newsom, City Manager W H Rodgers and City Secretary Lavenia Williams.
Absent: None.
Motion by Commissioner McMLillan, seconded by Commissioner Yrice, to
pay balance due on Fire Station, holding back 950.00 to finish doors.
This motion having carried unanimously.
Motion by Commissioner hlcIuillan, seconded by Commissioner Jones, aoLrried unanimously,
to pass ordinance No. 647, first reading.

No further business coming up for consideration, the Uity Commission
