The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at 7 P.P.I.
in Recessed Regular Session, Recessed from. Regular I,.eeting of
1lovember 28, 1940, at the Regular T�aeting Place in the City Hall,
the following members thereof being present, to -wit:
Mayor C E Slaton, _ Commissioners W B -'rice, Hub Jones, Garland tiewsor.,
City Manager ; H nodgers.
Absent: Commissioner �'d G I.Icl::illan and City Attorney Durwood H. Bradley.
This being the date set for receiving bids for the purchase of a
new engine for the I,lectric Light Plant,
Motion by Commissioner Jones, seconded b• Commissioner Price, carried
unanimously, to open bids.
Bids were received, opened and read, and referred to J.J. Graham and
W.H. Rodgers, to be tabulated, and further consideration given by the
Commission.
No further business coming up for consideration, the City Cormmission
adjourned.
