The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at 11:45 A.M. in Recessed Regular Session,
recessed front Regular 11-eetinU of ?.ovember 10, 1955, the following memebers thereof being present
to -wit:
Mayor Murrell R. Tripp, Commissioners Lennis Baker, Hurley Carpenter, S. S. Forrest and City
Manager H. P. 'Clifton.
Absent: Commissioner Lucian Thomas, City Attorney Vaughn E. Wilson and City Secretary -Treasurer
Lavenia Lowe.
55-14-349-751 Motion was made by Commissioner Forrest, seconded by Commissioner Baker, motion carried, Layor Tripp
and Commissioners Baker, Carpenter and Forrest voting YEA, none voting Nay, to authorize a parade
to bgheld, starting at 3 o'clock P.Y. , lovember 23, 1955, by General Y-otors Association on behalf
of the Lubbock new car dealers Association. Said parade to enter on US Highway 82, proceed to
Broadway, and west on Broadway to Texas Tech Campus.
NO FURTHER BUSIFESS COMING UP FOR CONSIDERATION. THE CITY COh1_ISSION RECESSED TO MEET
NOVEP_'BER 15, 1955 AT 2 O'CLOCK P.M.
