The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at 11:30 A.M. in recessed
regular session, recessed from regular meeting of February 24, 1955, at the regular
meeting place in the City Hall, the following members thereof being present to -wit:
Mayor Pro-tem Lennis Baker, Commissioners Hurley Carpenter and S. S. Forrest, City
Manager Steve Matthews, City Attorney Vaughn E. Wilson, City Secretary -Treasurer
Lavenia Lowe,
Absent: Mayor Murrell R. Tripp, and Commissioner Lucian Thomas.
55-13-528-892 Motion by Commissioner Forrest, seconded by Commissioner Carpenter, motion carried,
Mayor Pro -tern Baker and Commissioners Carpenter and Forrest voting Yea, none voting
Nay, Ordinance No. 1663 was passed on second and final reading.
ORDINANCE NO. 1663
AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING AND CLOSING PARTS AVENUE BETWEEN 5TH AND 6TH STREETS IN
THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, LUBBOCK COUNTY, TEXAS.
No further business coming up for consideraton, the City Commission recessed.
