April 27 , 1956
The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas,met at 10 o'clock A.M. in recessed regular
session, recessed from regular meeting of April 26, 1956, at the regular meeting place in
the City Hall the following members thereof being present to -wit:
Mayor S. S. Forrest, Jr., Commissioners 0. L. Byrd, David Casey, and Homer G. Maxey and
City Manager H. P. Clifton.
Absent: Commissioner Lennis Baker.
56-15-169-432 Motion by Commissioner Casey, seconded by Commissioner Maxey, motion carried, rlayor Forrest and
Commissioners Byrd, Casey and Maxey voting Yea, none voting Nay, to authorize appointment of the
following citizens to serve as a temporary committee to investigate wages, hours, working conditions
and etc. in the Lubbock Fire Department.
