The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met in recessed regular session at 10 o'clock
A.M. , recessed from Regular Meeting of April.12, 1956, at the regular r,Beting place in the .City
Hall, the followin; members thereof being present to -wit:
Kayor S. S. Forrest, Jr.,, Commissioners Lennis Baker, 0. L. Byrd, David Casey, and Homer G. Maxey
and City Manager H. P. Clifton.
Absent: None.
56-15-144-373 Motion by Commissioner Byrd, seconded by Commissioner Baker, motion carried, 1"ayor Forrest and
Commissioners Baker, Byrd, Casey and Maxey voting Yea, none voting Nay, to authorize "hooding" of two
parkin.; meters on the South side of Broadway, being the .first two parking meters west. of Texas
Avenue, and being immediately West of the Taxi-s�.and abutting Texas Avenue on the South side of
Broad.,:ay. Said parking meters to be hooded from 2 o'clock P.M. until 6 o'clock P.M. on konday,
April 23, 1956, for d;splay of new ti-pe cross-country bus.
