City Commission
Lubbock, Texas
Gentlemen:
We, the undersigned property owners of Country Club Addition, wish to protest the proposed zone change
in case #560 --'the request to chans.e all of 31k 13, Country Club Kddit-on from an "R-2" to a "C-4"
or to any other commercial zone.
All the residences on Block 17`12, same addition, on i.arvard Street front this Bl:c #13 and it would
greatly reduce the value of residential property near the proposed commercial district.
There is no access street off of the "Through" sections of North Avenue Q to this Blk 13 so iL would
cause excess traffic to flow thru the remaining residential zone creating a hazardous situation for
children in the addition. Excess truck traffic would also be undesirable to have in a residential
district.
We request that all of Blk #13, Country Club Addition be retained as an "R-2" zone.
