The City Commission of the City of -azbbock, Texas, met at 5:30 Y.b:.
in Recessed Regular Session, Recessed from Regular I_eeting of July
27, 1939, at the Regular Iueeting Place in the City Hall, the following
members thereof being present, to -wit:
M� ayor C E Sla.ton, Commissioners Yl D Price, 0+ G I.:cI.:illan, Ilub Jones,
J A Fortenberry, City I�.anager W H Rodgers.

I.-otion by Corimissioner I.:cl:illan, seconded by Corfmrission-r Fortenberry,
carried unanimously, to employ V.R. Ylur mer, as Tax Collector -Assessor,
at a salary of 5�175.00 per month; to retain E.C.-foung., as De;puty
Tax Collector -Assessor, at his present salary.
After considering all applications for employing successor to W.
Eagan, the City I,=anager was instructed to employ J.D. 1%:�r�as to
fill the place vacated by Ir. Eagan, at a salary of 9160.G0 per month.
No further business coming up for consideration, the City Corimis sion
ad j ourne d.
