Lubbock, Texas, uctober 17, 1939.
The City Cornrnission of the `ity of Lubbock, Texas, net at 7:30 V.M.
in Recessed Regular Session, Recessed frcm Regular I-eeting of October
12, 1939, at the Regular Meeting Place in the City hall, the following
members thereof being present, to -wit: ,
Mayor C.E. Slaton, Commissioners ''I G McMillan, W B Price, J A Fortenberry,
Hub Jones, City Attorney Durwood H Bradley, City Lanager W II Ro,3gers.
Absent: None.
This being the day set for considering bids on Street Improvement bonds
in the enount of 450,000.00; Sewage ''isposal Bonds in the amount of
�50,000.00; Central Fire Station .0onds in the amount of 450,000.00;
whereupon motion by Commissioner Fortenberry, secunded by Commissioner
Jones, and unanimously carried, bids were opened and ordered read to the
Commission.
Motion by Commissioner ICcl�,illan, seconded by Commissioner Fortenberry,
carried unanimously, it was ordered that the City hold all bids and
bidder's checks, for further consideration, and the city Iuamger and
City Auditor, D.D. L-artin, were instructed to tabulate bids.
No further business coming up for consideration, the City Commission
Recessed to meet October 18, 1939, at 5:30 P.14.
