JOINT MEETING OF CITY COMMISSION
MISSION
AND COUNTY COMMISSION.
The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, and the
County Commission of the County of Lubbock, met at 1:30 P.M.
in the City Hall, the following members thereof being present
to -wit:
Mayor John Hood of Slaton, Texas, J.H; Brewer, Slaton "ity
Commissioner,
County Judge J.J. Dillard, County Commissioners T L Holt,
Barrett Penny, B 0 McWhorter, Beg Mansker, County Auditor
J Y Boyd;
Mayor C E Slaton, City Commissioners W G McMillan, J A
Fortenberry, W B Price, City Manager W H Rodgers and City
Secretary Lavenia Williams.
Absent: City Commissioner Hub Jones.
Also present: Dr. PSI C Overton, Dr. F B Malone, Mr. J H
Felton, Dr J W Rollo, Joe Wilson.
This meeting was called for the purpose of discussion of renewal
of Hospitalization Contract, and upon motion by County
Commissioner McWhorter, seconded by City Commissioner McMillan,
carried unanimously, to renew the contract for another year,
with no changes.
No further business coming up for consideration, the m(:eting
adjourned.
