July 14, 1937.
The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at 1:30
P.M. in necessed Regular Session, Recessed from Regular Meeting
of July 8, 1937, at the Regular l,A'eeting Place in the City Hall,
the following members thereof being present, to -wit:
Mayor Ross Edwards, Commissioners W B Price, J k Eortenberry,
GJ G McMillan, A J xi chardson, City Manager W ri Ro dgers , City
Attorney Durwood H Bradley, and +;i ty :'ecretary Lavenia dilliams.
Absent: City Attorney Durwood H Bradley.
The meeting was called for the purpose of further discussion
in connection with the purchase of power unit for the pity
Electric Plant from the Nordberg Manufacturing company.
Mr. Trimble reported the Nordberg Manufacturing `'ompany
agreed to allow the City 2% Discount for cash on the purchase
price of $133,652.00, incorporating same in the contract.
After a general discussion of this agreement, no other business
coming up for consideration, the Uity Conriission adjourned.
