Lubbock, Texas, Oct. 20, 1937.
the City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, and the
County Qormission of Lubbock County, Texas, met in joint session
at the City Hall, at 2 P.Ia. the following members thereof being
present, to -wit:
County Judge J J Dillard, Uounty Cormissioners P B Penney, T.L. Holt,
Ben Mansker and B 0 McWhorter; Joe Wilson, Secretary County-Uity
Welfare Association, and fir. J 'd liollo, Uity Health Officer.
Of the City Uormission:
V1 B Price, Mayor Pro Tem, City Commissioners 'if G McMillan, A J
Richardson, City Manager Vl Ii Rodgers and City Secretary Lavenia
Williams.
Absent: Mayor Ross Edwards, Commissioner J A Fortenberry.
This meeting was called for the purpose of discussion renewal
of hospitalization contract for the year beginning Oct. 1, 19379
and ending Sept. 30, 1938, inclusive.
The following were present as representatives of the Hospitals:
J II Brewer, Kercy Hospital Slaton, 'Texas
C E Hunt, and J H Felton, Lubbock Sanitarium
Dr Fred Standefer, and C J Hollingsworth, West Texas Hospital
Jimmie Wilson, Plains Hospital and Ulinic.

McWhorter, to renew hospitalization Contract same as last year

with the following exceptions:
First 4 X-Ray Pictures 05.00 each, each subsequent picture �3.00.
No further business coming up for consideration, the meeting
was adjourned.
