RECESSED REGULAR PIEET ING.
Lubbock, Texas,
May 4, 1936.
The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at 1:30
�I P.M. in Recessed Regular Sessions Recessed from Regular Meeting
L... of April 23rd, 1936, at the Regular Meeting Place in the Uity
Hall, the following members thereof being present, to -wit:
Mayor Doss Edwards, Conunissioners W.B. Price, W.G. McMillan,
J.A. Fortenberry, A.J. Richardson, City Attorney J.E. dickers,
End City Manager W.H. Rodgers.
Absent: None,
The Water Project - North 'Test of Town, was discussed with Brown
& Root, Homer Grant and T.S. Sutherland, whereupon Motion by
Commissioner McMillan, seconded by Commissioner Fortenberry,
carried unanimously, it was ordered that the City OEngineer draw
piano fthd get up specifications for tXcavation of approximately
One hundred thousand (100,000) yards of dirt, and that the City
flAnager take bids and award contract to the best and most
advantageous bidder for the City of Lubbock.
No further business coming up for consideration the City Commission
adjourned.
