RECESS:TD t"q GULAR P1METING.
Lubbock, Texas, March 6, 1936.
The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at 2:30
P.M. in Recessed Regular Session, Recessed from Regular iueeting
of February 27th, 1936, at the Regular Meeting Place in the City
Hall, the follo,rring members thereof being present, to -wit:
Mayor Ross Edwards, Commissioners W.B. Price, A.J. Richardson,
J.C. Royalty, City Manager W.H. Rodgers.
Absent: T.O. Stevens, and Commissioner S.E. Needles.
Upon motion by Commissioner Richardson, seconded by Commissioner
Royalty, the following order carried unanimously.
NOTICE OF CITY ELECTION
At a Recessed Regular Meeting of the City Commission of the City
of Lubbock'. Texas, held March 6th, 1936, a quorum being present,
upon motion duly made, seconded -and unanimously carried, general
election for election of City officers is ordered for City of
Lubbock on April 7, 1936, to be held between hours of 8 o'clock
A.M. to 7 o'clock P.M. in accordance with general election lags
of the State, at the following places in the Uity Mall in the
City of Lubbock, 'Texas, Box No. 1 in Police "ourt Room on first
floor and Box No. 2 at rire Station No. 1, First Floor, Uity Hall.
Election Judges to hold said election hereby appointed are:
Box No. 1: Ira I':rilson, J.A. Hughes, Chas. Payne,
Bo-- No. 2: Mrs. M.O. Owens, A.C. Straley, Mrs. J.S. Johnson.
Voters may vote in either box.
Copy this order for election shall be published 30 days prior
to said election.
