Lubbock, Texas, Sept. 6, 1935.
`he City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at 4 P.M. in
Recessed Regular Session, recessed from Regular Meeting of August 22,
1935, at the Regular Meeting Pl-ce in the City Hall, the following
members thereof being present, to -wit:
Mayor Pro Tem 7'.B. Price, Commissioners J.C. Royalty, A.J. Richardson,
City Attorney �,.L. Klett, City Manager ��'.H. Rodgers.
A})sent: Mayor Ross Edwards, Commissioners Geo E Benson, and City
Secretary .." 0 Stevens.
Lpon motion by Commission,-r Richardson, sec nded by Commissioner
Royalty, carried unanimously, City Manager "J.H. Rodgers was instructed

to close degl on P.F. Brown land for State Park and to see that
bernathy deed is in escrow for the final closing of lbernathy
land,
and to file for record deed from the uity of Lubbock to State
of Texas, and forward same to lair. D.E. Colp, Chairman, State
Park Board, in order that they might proceed with the construction
of McKenzie Park; and to sign Inderinit5r 1Lgreement on Abernathy deal.
No further business coming up for consideration, upon motion by
Commissioner Richardson, seconded by Commissioner Royalty,
carried unanimously, the City Commission adjourned.
