Lubbock, 'Texas, June 27, 1935
The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, texas, met at 1:30 F.M.
in Regular Session at the Regular Meeting Place in the City hall,
the following members thereof being present, to -wit:
Mayor Ross -Edwards, Commissioners J C Royalty, Ueo E Benson, 7..n.
Price, A.J. Richardson, City Manager "r ti Rodgers, City Attcmney
E.L. n.lett, and City Secretary W.O. Stevens.
absent: None.
The Minutes of Regular Meeting of June 13th and Recessed Regular
z&eetings of June 14th, 15th and 19th, 1935, were read and upon
motion by 1Commi ssi over Richardson, second=ed by Commissioner Royalty,
they were und,nimous;y Approved.
Moved by Commissioner Royalty, seconded by commissioner Richardson,
that the City Audit made by Bill Condray be approved and that a
warrant payable to him be drawn in the amount of 0600.00 in payment
for bis services.
Citizens National Bank of Lubbock placed with the First National
Bank of Fort North additional securities to cover the guarantee
of the City's funds, and upon motion by Commissioner Richardson,
seconded by Commissioner Price, Commissioner Ueo. Benson being
excused from voting, that the City accept the additional securities.
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 528, passed and approved on the 24th
day of Jan., 1935, The Citizens National rank of Lubbock, Texas,
was selected as the Depository of the funds of the Iity cf Lubbock,
'texas, to be secured by deposit of permissible securities under the
'tztutes of trnis State, and

M1EREAS, the said The Citizens National bank has placed with
the Yi rst Kati onal -Bank of v'ort Worth, .Fort Worth, Texas,
securities for the purpose of covering deposits of this city
with such depository in compliance with such selection and
said Ordinance No. 528, which said securities are described
as follows:
i 1 - 05000 - #p18944D
3 - �10,000 - ##s 69141A - 42B - 43C
2 - 7/8% Treasury bonds of 1955/60, dated 3/15/35, interest
due March and aeptenber 15th. September 15, 1935, s.c.a. ,p35,000.00
which are held to the joint account of the Depository and
this City for indemnity to the City;
Now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the
City of Lubbock, 'Texas, that the City of Lubbock, texas, does
here ratify and confirm such deposit and the terms thereof,
and the individual securities as being acceptable and in compliance
with the ordinance selecting the depository, insofar as the face
of such securities do not exceed the sums of the City on yeposit
with said The Citizens National bank of Lubbock, 'Texas.
Passed and approved by unanimous vote of the City Commission,
this the 27th day of June,. 1935.

be approved.
