Lubbock, 'texas, .rune 19, 1935.
'i'he City Commission of the City of Lubbock, 'Texas, met at 3:30
P.M. in Recessed Regular Session, Recessed from Regular bleeting
of June 13, 19352 at the Regular TQPeting Place in the City hall,
the follo-ring members thereof being present, to -wit:
Mayor Ross Edwards, Commissioners 7.-b. Price, J.C. Royalty,
A.J. Richardson, Geo. L. Henson, City !dan-�ger W. H. Rodgers, and
City Secretory 'IT .U. Stevens.
Absent: None.
Moved by Commis:--i:an2r Price, seconded by Commissioner Richardson,
that H.H. Shell and Son be &wa-rded the Contract for building an
extension to the Light Plant building for consideration of
'#;49158. 50, thj. ! being the low bid.
Motion by Commissioner Richardson, seconded by Commissioner Yoyalty,
th-t the City I'lanager be instructed to put a 2" tap for water
and also construct a sexier line to the C.C.C. -barracks nav being
built in the Fast part of the City, at a total cost of approximately
%500.00, provided relief labor can be secured.

Commissi ner Richardson, seconded by Commissioner Royalty, carried

MMREAS, the said The Citizens National bank has placed with
the r'i rst Kati onal -Bank of r'ort Worth, .Fort Worth, Texas,
securities for the purpose of covering deposits of this city
with such depository in compliance with such selection and
said Ordinance No. 528, which said securities are described
as follows:
1 - 05000 - ##18944D
3 - �10,000 - #s 69141A - 42B - 43C
2 - 7/8% Treasury bonds of 1955/60', dated 3/15/35, interest
due March and September 15th. September 15, 1935, s.c.a. ,p35,000.00
which are held to the joint account of the Depository and
this City for indemnity to the City;
Now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the
City of Lubbock, 'Texas, that the City of Lubbock, iexasr does
here ratify and confirm such deposit and the terms thereof,
and the individual securities as being acceptable and in compliance
with the ordinance selecting the depository, insofar as the face
of such securities do not exceed the sums of the City on lieposit
with said the Citizens National bank of Lubbock, 'Texas.
Passed and approved by unanimous vote of the City Commission,
this the 27th day of June, 1935.

Moved,by Commissioner Richardson, seconded by Commissioner
Royalty, that the 05,000.00 security bond for (Ieneva Crawford
be approved.
Motion by Commissioner Price, seconded by Commissioner Hoyalty,
that the City Secretary be instructed to draw draft for 0500.00
in favor of the County -city Welfare Association.
