in Recessed Regular Session, Recessed f ron Regular Meeting of Oct.

folio +ing members thereof being present, to -brit:
Mayor Ross Edwards, Commissioners J.C. Royn1ty, Price, A.J.
Richardson, City Attorney E.L. Klett, City Manager -.H. Rodgers
and City Secretary .0. Stevens.
Absent: None.
Uron motion by U(5rimissioner Price, seconded by Commissioner Roye.lty,
carried unanimously, the following resolution was passed.
Resolution to show cause ,,hy telephone rates in Gity
of Lubbock should not be reduced.
-Moved by Commissioner VV.b. Price, seconded by Cornissioner j.C.
Roy,glty, unanimously c'�rried, by vote of City Uommission, a quorum
being present, th-it the City Commission of the Uity of Lubbock,
Texas, hold a hearing in the City Commission Room, second floor
City Hall, Lubbock, Texas, on October 30th, 19349 9 A.M., for
purpose of considering passage of ordinance lowering telephone rate,
for residence and commercial phones, in s.--.id City. lvotice of the
time qnd place of said hearing shall be given to the Southwestern
-Bell Telephone Uompany by delivering to it a copy of this resolution.
