The�ity Commission of the city of Lubbock, Texas, met at
J:% P*M* in Recessed Regular Session, Recessed from the
Regular Meeting of April 12, 19349, at the Kegular Meeting Place
in the City Hall, the following members thereof being present,

Mayor Ross Edwards, Commissioners J.C. Royalty, W.B. Price,
A.J. Richardson, City Attorney E.L. Klett, City Manager W.h.
Rodgers and City Secretary J.L. molt.
Absent: Commissioner J.F. Macon.
Lids having been received for the purchase of a minimum car of
galvanized pipe from the following three firms, Western Windmill
Company, Axtell Company and Clowe & Cowan, all of Lubbock, iexa4
the three bids being exactly the same, that is, 3/4" galvanized
pipe at -I55.82, 2" galvanized pipe at D17.67, per one -hundred
feet, f.o.b. Lubbock, Texas, Axtell Company and ulowe and Uowan
having received orders for the last two cars, upon motion by
Mr. Royalty, seconded by Mr. Price, carried unanimously, (:ity
Manager W.fi. Rodgers was instructed to purchase car of pipe from
WesternjFTindmill Company.
bo further business coming up for consideration, upon motion by
Mr. Royalty, seconded by Mr. Price, carried unanimously, the
City Commission adjourned.
