REGULAR MEETING.
The City Commission
1:30 P.M. in Regular

of the Uity of Lubbock, Texas, met at
Session at the Regular.Meeting Place in
following members thereof being present,
Mayor J.J. Clements, Commissioners Jno. E. Roach, ueo. E.
Benson, J.C. Royalty, City Attorney E.L. Klett, City Manager
W.H. Rodgers and C ity Secretary J.L. Holt.
Absent: Commissioner J.Y. Bacon.
The Minutes of Regular Meeting of January 25th and Recessed.
Regular Meetings of January 29th and 31st, 1934, were read and
upon motion by Mr. Roach, seconded by Mr. Royalty, they were
unanimously approved.
Upon motion by Mr. Benson, seconded b-r Mr. Royalty, carried
unanimously, Ordinance No. 509 passed Second and finalheading.
MILK ORDINANCE NO. 509
(AMENDMENT)
ORDINANCE REGULATING INSPECTION, PASTEURIZATION, MANUFACTURE,
TRANSPORTATION, EXPOSITION, SALE AND HANDLING FOR SALE OF ICE
CREAM; AND PRESCRIBING PENALTY FOR VIOLATION.
Upon motion by Mr. Roach, seconded by Mr. Royalty, carried
unanimously, the following new members were appointed on the
Board of Directors of the Lubbock Board of City Development:
W.T. Gaston, S.J. McFarland, J.D. Hassell, E.J. Parsons and
I.E. .Barr.
Upon motion by Mr. Benson se o ded by Mr. Roach, the city
Commission unanimously ` I °the tree planting program as
outlined by the Whiteside Nursery and pledged the cooperation
of the City Engineer in locating place trees should be set,
ho further business coming up for consideration, upon motion
by Mr. Roach, seconded by Mr. Royalty, carried unanimously,
the City commission Recessed to meet web. 9, 1934, at 5 P.M,
