oil contract.
FUEL OIL CONTRACT
STATE OF TEXAS X LUBBOCK RXFINING CO.
TO
LUBBOCK_ COUNTY CITY OF LUBBOCK
The Lub"boc c Refining Company of Lubbock, Texas, seller, hereby
sells and agrees to deliver to the City of Lubbock, buyer, at
Lu bock, Texas, its requirements for fuel oil for following, year,
estim,-,ted at 65 cars of fuel oil, 24-26 gr-).vity, and 4.0 c-�rs of
"R-:70 grE.vity, for a period beginning Febru-;.ry 1, 19349 end ending
Jgnu•-.ry 3l, 197,5, for which the buyer agrees to pay to the seller

II 24-26 gr---vity straight run fuel - :-1.26 per barrel,
28-30 gravity straight run fuel - :�1.36 per barrel,
basis F.O.B. City of Lubbock Plant.
City Engineer to make gr�.vity test.
Shipment to be made at the rate of appr:ximately eight cars
per month. The buyer shall be allowed discount of 1joc n all
bills paid --ithin 10 deys after rendered.
If it be determined by the City that it could use 19-22
gravity straight run fuel, it shill have the privilege of
substituting any part of the above order, and pay therefor the
basic price of '51.11 per barrel, and have the same upon terms
ztated above.
It is understood that the above quoted price is based on the
cux•rent market price of fuel oil, and that. the posted price of
39 gravity North Texas Crude is ',�1.03. And it is agreed that
in case the ported price for said 39 gravity North 'Texas Crude
hereafter adv^nces, that the aforesaid purchase price shall
increase in the amount of 40% of the advance above the posted
price. And in c?se the posted price declines below ;51.039
then the purchase price shall be decreased by 40% of the
declines below i�1.03.
At any time during the life of this contract the seller
should be required by reason of unavoidable accidents or
other causes to suspend operations, or operations should be
curtailed to the point seller is unable to furnish the afore-
s7 id reouirements, ty-is agreement ma.y be cancelled upon
thirty days' written notice by either party.
The City reserves the right to renew this contract for
another yeer on the sa:ae basis as stated in above contract.
