Lubbock, 'Texas, January 29, 1934,
The Uity Commission of the City of Lubbock, exas, met at 2 P.k.
in Recessed Regular Session, Recessed from Regular Meeting of January
259 1934, at the Regular Meeting Place in the City Hall, the follow-
ing members thereof being present, to -wit:
Mayor J.J. Clements, Commissioners J.F. Bacon, Ueo. E. Benson, J.C.
Royalty, City Manager Iff.h. Rodgers, City Secretary J.L. Molt.
Absent: Commissioner Jno. E. Roach.
Bids having been received for two deep well pumps, after all bids
being carefully considered., upon motion by Mr. Bacon, secm ded by
Ivtr. Royalty, carried unanimously, City Manager W.ti. Rodgers was
instructed to purchase from Clowe and Cowan one 101 Nine 6tage
Pomona, Water Lubricated, 'Turbine Pump at �1198.60; one 12"",
Seven Stage Pomona, 'Hater Lubricated, 'turbine Pump at 01240.20,
F.O.B. Lubbock, texas, this being the best and most advantageous
bid.
No further business coming up for consideration, upon motion bj
Mr. Bacon, seconded by Mr. Royalty, carried unanimously, the City
Commission Recessed to meet January 319 1934, at 3 P.M.
