The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at 11:45 A.M. with the following
members present to -wit:
Mayor Murrell R. Tripp, Commissioner S. S. Forrest and Commissioner Lucian Thomas
Absent: Commissioner Hurley Carpenter and Commissioner Lennis Baker
6-14-402-927 Motion was made by Commissioner Forrest, seconded by Commissioner Thomas, motion carried,
Mayor Tripp and Commissioners Forrest and Thomas voting Yea, none voting Nay, to authorize
appointment of Bill Somers as second alternate to serve as Assistant Corporation court Judge
for the City of Lubbock at a rate of $25.00 per day.
NO FURTHER BUSINESS COMING UP FOR CONSIDERATION, THE CITY COMMISSION RECESSED TO MEET
JANUARY 20, 1956 AT 4 o'clock.
