Lubbock, Texas, May 9, 1933.
The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at
5:30 P.M. in Recessed Regular Session, Recessed from
Regular Meeting of April 27, 1933, at the Regular Meetirg
Place in the City Hall, the following members thereof being
present, to -wit:
Mayor J.J. Clements, Commissioners Geo, E. Benson, J.F.
Bacon, Jno. E. Roach, J.C. Royalty, City Attorney E.L.
Klett, City Manager W.H. Rodgers and City Secretary J.L.
Holt.
Absent: None.
MOTION ASKING :"EST TEXAS GAS COMPANY
TO SUBMIT OFFER OF PRICE AND TERMS ON
WHICH IT WOULD SELL NATURAL GAS DIS-
TRIBUTION PLANT IN LUBBOCK
On motion by Geo. E.Benson, seconded by Jno. F.Bacon,
duly carried, the mayor was directed to appoint a committee
to ask the Vest Texas Gas Company to submit to the City
of Lubbock an offer of the price and terms upon which it
would sell to the City of Lubbock the natural gas dis-
tribution plant in Lubbock.
Thereupon,the Mayor appointed as such committee Geo. E.
Benson, Chairman, and Jno. E. Roach and W.H. Rodgers.
No further business coming up for consideration, upon
motion by Mr. Benson, seconded by Mr. Roach, carried
unanimously, the City Commission adjourned.
