Lubbock, Texas, March 9, 1933.
The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at
1:30 P.M. in Regular Session at the Regular Meeting Place
in the City Hall, the following members thereof being
present, to -wit:
M-yor J.J.Clements, Commissioners J.F. Bacon, Jno. E.Roach,
J.C. Royalty, City Attorney E.L. Klett, City Manager W.H.
Rodgers and City Secreta.ry J.L. Holt.
Absent: Commissioner George E. Benson,
The Minutes of Regular Meeting of Feb. 2:49 1933, �,vere read
and upon motion by 14r. Bacon, seconded by Mr. Royalty, they
were unanimously approved.
Motion by Mr. Roach, seconded by Mr. Bacon, ca-ried ur•�ni-
mously, City Manager W.H. R odgers was instructed to purchase
a car of s^lt for. the Electric Department from the Avery Salt
Company.
Motion by Mr. Roach, secoirl ed by Mr. Royalty, carried unani-
mously, City Manager W.H. Rodgers was instructed to purchase
a 1931 model Packard Chassis for the Fire Department at D175.00.
No further business coming up for consider--tion, upon motion by
Mr. Ro•ich, seconded by Mr. Royalty, carried unanimously,
the City Commission Recessed to Meet March 14, 1933, at 1:30
