Lubbock, Texas, December 89 1932.
The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at
1:30 P.M. in Regular Session at the Regular Meeting Place
in the City Hall, the following members thereof being
presents, to -wit:
Mayor J.J. Clements, Commissioners Jno. E. Roach, Geo. E.
Benson, J.C. Ttoyalty, City Attorney E.L. Klett, City Manager
W.H. Rodgers and City Secretary J.L. Holt.
Absent: Commissioner J.F. Bacon.
The Minutes of Recessed Regular Meeting of November 23rd
and 26th, 1932, were read and upon motion by Mr.Roach,
seconded by Mr.Royalty, they were unanimously approved.
Motion by fir. Benson, seconded by Mr.Roa ch, Ordinance No.
501 unanimously passed.
ORDINANCE NO. 501.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPH 10-1-4 OF THE BUILDING CODE
OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS, PERTAINING TO QUOTATION
GENERAL REPAIRS TO WOOD SHINGLE ROOFS.
Motion by Mr. Benson, seconded by Mr. Royalty, the County -
City Welfare Associationts report for November, 1932, was
unanimously approved.
Moti .n by Mr. Benson, seconded by Mr. Roach, carried
unanimously, City Manager W.H. Rodgers was authorized to
buy fuel oil on the open market at the best possible price
whenever needed to fill in.
Motion by Mr. Benson, seconded by Mr. Roach, carried unani-
mously, Mr. C.E. Russell and Mrs. Clark M. Mullican were
appointed as members of the Park Board.
No further business coming up for consideration, upon motion
by Mr. Roach, seconded by Mr. Royalty, carried unanimously,
the City Commissicn Recessed to meet December 92 1932, at
7:30 P.M.
