The City Commission of the i%ity of lubbock, Texas, met at
2:45 P.I+I. in recessed He;ular Session, Recessed from Regular
Meeting of July 23, 1931, in the Regular Ideeting i-Ilace in the
City Hall, the following members ther.-:of being present, to -wit:
Mayor J.J. Clements, Uommiss ioners J .F. Bacon, and Ono. L .
Roach, City Attorney E.L. Klett, Acting City Manager VI.H.
Rodgers, and Acting City Secretary J.L. Holt.
Absent: Corrunissioners D.N. Leaverton and Ceo. E. Benson.
The meeting was called for the purpose of discussion with
Mr. Hinchey and Mr. McKinney of the 'West Texas Gas Company,
the possibility of a lower gas rate for the consumers in
Lubbock, but no action: was taken.
IVo furVier business coming up for consideration, upon motion
by 11r. iioach, seconded by T.°r. Bacon, the City Commission
adjourned.
