Lubbock, Texas, November 7, 1931.
The City commission of the ,,ity of Lubbock, 'Texas, met at 1:30
P.r4. in Recessed negular Session, necessed from Regular Meeting
of October 22, 1931, at the Regular Meeting Place in the City
Hall, the following members thereof being present, to -wit:
Mayor J.J. elements, Commissioners Jno. L. roach, J.F'. Bacon,
City Manager -,.H. hodgers, City Secretary J.Q. Holt.
Absent: Commissioners D.N. Leaverton and Geo. -0-. Benson.
This Meeting was called for the purpose of purchasing two deep
well pumps. After considering all bids, upon motion by Mr.
Roach, seconded by P:Sr. Bacon, carried unanimously, Uity T:':jnager
d.H. itodgers was instructed to purchase two Layne Bowler pumps
at a cost of °r1490.00 and $1570.00 each.
No further business coming up for consideration, upon motion
by Mr. Roach, secoridee: by I:ir. Bacon,ediried'unanimously,the City
Commission recessed to meet T,6vember`9, 1931, at 9 A.M.
