Lubbock, 'Texas, October 29,1931.
The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, 'Texas, met at
1:30 i'.M. in iecessed Regular -ession, Necessed from ltegular
Meeting of October 22, 1931, at the Regular Meeting Place in
the City Hall, the following members thereof being present,
to -wit:
Mayor J.J. dements, oornmissioners J.F. Bacon, Jno.L. Roach,
D.N. Leaverton, Geo. E. Benson, I-ity attorney E.L. Klett,
Acting City Manager W.H. Rodgers and Acting City Secretary J .L.
Holt.
Absent: None.
Visitors: Mayor George of Slat on, Texas.
This meeting was called for the purpose of a Gas Hearing between
the City Commission and the was Company. Those present
representing the uas Company, were:
Mr. Henchie, Manager of Nest Texas Gas Company, Geo. Dupree and
Chas. C. Crenshaw, Attorneys.
Mr. Crenshaw presented to the Vommission the Gas Company's
side of the case, and filed a Brief with the City Commission.
Motion by Mr. Bacon, seconded by 1,1r. Roach, carried unani-
mously, Acting city Manager W.H. Rodgers was instructed to
purchase �2,000.00 worth of Uity of Lubbock Bonds due February,
1932, at Ninety Five if possible, not to exceed Ninety Eight.
No further business coming up for consideration, upon motion
by Mr. Bacon, seconded by Mr. 11oach, carried unanimously, the
City Commission Recessed to meet November 7, 1931, at 1:30 P.R.Q.
