Lubbock, 'Texas, May 19, 1931.
The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met in Recessed
Regular Session at 2:30 P.M., Recessed from Regular Meeting of
April 23, 1931, at the Regular Meeting Place in the City Hall, the
following members thereof being present, to -wit:
Mayor J.J. Clements Commissioners D.N. Leaverton, J.F. Bacon, Geo.
E. Benson, Jno. E. 4oach, Acting City Manager U.H. Rodgers.
Absent: None.
Motion by Mr. Bacon, seconded by 11r. Benson, carried unani-- ously, it
was ordered to finish up well in canyon provided the water consumption
shows that it is needed, and to buy well site from leaver Bres.
in Block 172, O.T. , at a cost of $300.00, also pay T,Zr. McDonald for
two well tests.
Motion by Lir. Benson, seconded by L"r. Eacon, carried unanimously,
it was ordered to accept the Resignation of Mr. C.H. Mahoney as
Chairman of the Park Board, the entire Commission expressing
their regrets in having; to loose I'r. i>"ahoney due to the fact
that he is leaving the Uity, and the Uity "ecretary was instruct-
ed to write him expressing the Commission's regrets.
No further business coming up for consideration, upon motion by
Mr. Bacon, seconded by h.r. Benson, carried unanimously, the City
Commission adjourned.
