The City Commission of the pity of Lubbock, 'l'exas, met at
3 P.M. in recessed Zed lar Session, recessed from Regula r
Tai(,-eting of September 11, 1930, in tl�e Reo).lar Mceting ?lace
at the City Hall, the following members th::reof being present,
to -wit:
Mayor J.J.Clements, Commissioners Geo. B. Benson, Jno. -"oath,
J.F. Bacon, D.N. Leaverton, City 11anager J. Bryan ?Tiller and
City 2ecretary '::.H. Rodgers.
Absent: None.
The meeting; called for the purpose of discussing the proposition
regarding storm serier crossing the ;'. S.F. Ry. Co. on T orth
ilvenue K, with T_r. J.A. dillies, Division Superintendent,
Santa Fe Ry. Co., Slaton, Texas. ."_fter considerable discussion
it was decided to arrange a meeting* �'.ith the manta Fe Ry.
Company officials at a future date to decide further regarding
the Santa Fe payii_p for this expense.
The riatter of closing Street and alleys in Llock 1C7, Original
Town, for the Santa Fe Ry. Co. was discussed. but no action taken.
No fu.--ther business coriinC- uo for consideration upon --otion by
Mr. Benson, seconded by T._r.Roach, carried unanimously, the City
Commission adjourned.
