Lubbock, Texas, August 15, 1930.
The "ity Commission of the 6ity of Lubbock, Texas, met at 5 ?.M.
in Recessed Regular Session, recessed from Regular Meeting of
August 14, 1930, at the Regular Meeting Place in the Gity Hall,
the following members thereof being present, to -wit:
Vayor T.J. Clements, Commissioners Geo. E. Benson, Jno. E roach,
City Manager J. Bryah'Iva ller and City"Secretary-I'+.H. Rodgers.
Absent: Commissioners J.F.Bacon and D.N. Leaverton.
Motion by Mr. Benson, seconded by 111r, poach, the following
Resolution carried unanimously.

CLUB.
It vras moved by T„r. ">enson, seconded by ?Ir. ioach and
carried by a unanimous vote of the City Uommission that the
Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and the lul-bock Coun ry Club,
are
both private corporations, be, and they/he reby, given permit
to erect, maintain and operate telephone lire or lines to
serve Lubbock Country Blub and J.D. Slaughter on the poles
of the C ity's electric light line run3. ing from the :: ity to tYn
Lubbock Country Club, all without expense or damage to the City
of Lubbock, and withthe understanding that grantees of said
permit shall be directly and solely responsible for all dama{;es
that may be caused by grantees in the erection, maintenance or
operation of said telephone line. It is further understood
that this permit shall ex,)ire when the Southwestern Bell Tele-
phone Company shall hereafter erect its own telephone line to
serve said J.D. :)lauErhter and the Lubbock Uountry Club.
