The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at 5:30 P.M.
in Recessed Regular Session, Recessed from Regular Meetir.g of
May 8, 1930, in the Regular Meeting Place in the City Hall, the
following members thereof being present, to -wit:
Mayor J.J. Clements, Commissioners D.N. Leaverton, Geo. E. Benson,
Jno. E.Roach, City Attorney E.L. Klett, City Manager J. Bryan Miller
and City Secretary W.H. Rodgers.
APsent: Commissioner J.F. Bacon.
Motion by Mr. Leaverton, seconded by Mr. B.4b6n, carried unanimously,
it was ordered to purchase 101 strip oTf of Lot 12 Block 9,
Original Town, from Mrs. Ethel Scales, at cost of f70.00, she to
furnish Abstract.
No further business coming up for consideration, upon iaotion by Mr.
Roach, seconded by Mr. Benson, the City Commission recessed to meet
May 19, 1930, at 7 P.M.
