dispense with killing doa-s in the City until some fut-,ire ds.te. Co-n,ris-
sioners Leaverton, Bacon and. ria.nkins voted "I" and Con:ilissioner A. V.

City Secretary was authorized and instructed to advertise for bids and
set date for receiving bids as ner the folio=,ing notice:

of Lubbock, 'Vexas, at the City mall, at 1:10 P. '�'. on the 24th day of
January, 1929, for the purchase and handlin�p of a Bond Issue voted on
the 24th day of Sentember, 1928, in the amount of $350,000 bearing
interest at the rate of 5% ner annu:a - interest payable semi-anozally --
bonds maturin , serially over a, period of not to exceed forty years from
their date. .Issues as folloT4is:
