The City Gomm ssion of the City of Lubbock, Texas met at 1:00 i'. I5.
at the regular meeting place in the City mall in regular session,
recessed from may 24, 1928, the following members thereof being pres-
ent, to wit
Mayor H. D. :boo ds , Commissioners A. V. YYeaver, , d . i Bacon and o . H.
Ilankkns, vity Lianager G. W. idicCleary and City secretary d. H. Rodgers.
Absent:Commissioner D. N. Leaverton and City Attorney L. r,lett
upon motion made by tir. Hankins, seconded by Wr. 'deaver, carried unan-
imously, the City Uommission accepted the resignation of vi. A. Bacon,
Joe Hess and J. A. ix as a Board of Tax Lquali zation.
Upon motion made by Idr. Hankins, seconded by i,Ir. Bacon, carried unan-
imously, each uommissioner handed in a list of three names to mayor
floods $nd from that list the Mayor was instructed to appoint a new
Board of Tax equalization; whereupon, I3ayor Moods appointed the fol-
lowing:
