CALLM M EMNG Lubbock, T;� exa, February 15, 1928:
The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas met ill called ses-
sion at the Mayor's office at 9:00 A. t,I. , the following members there-
of being present, to wi•t:
Mayor kink L. karrish, Commissioners J. H. Hankins, I.,. Ve W* a. nosey, City Attorney L. ,Ilett and City Secretary +fie H�r Odgers.

Absent: Commissioner J. 0. Jones and ::ity Manager G. .l. McCleary
ibis meeting was cC.-lled by P:layor Parrish for the purpose of settling
the law suit of the City of Lubbock vs J. R. Germany et al .
Upon motion made by Tdr. +leaver, seconded by Lir. Hankins., City At-
torney &. L. Zlett was authorized and instructed to settle the bond
suit styled the City cf Lubbock vs. J. R. Germany Let al for the sum
of -�8,000.00 and cost. It 1w understood that settlement is only with
Bonding Company and doeS3 not release sermanyh
"pon motion .:jade by Lo:. iiankins, seconded by Lir. de&ver, carried
unanimously, the City Manager and City Secretary were authorized
and instructed to make complete invoice of the stock of merchandise
on hand in the warehouse and to make complete record of same as used
for each department.
Upon motion made by Mr. Hankins, seconded by Mr. Weaver, carried
unanimously, the meeting adjourned.
