The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at 1:00 P. T.T.
in regular session at the regular meeting place in the City Hall, the
following members thereof being present, to vd. t:
Mayor Pi4 L. Parrish, Commissioners J. 0. Jones and 4. S. Posey,
City Manager G. W. McCleary and City Secretary '97. H. Rodgers.
Absent: Commissioners J. H. Hankins and A. V. ,Deaver.
Mr. J. C. Barton, Superintendent of the Santa Fe Railway Co. , and the
Committee on subways, headed by 11r. C. 3. i;iaedaen, met with the Com-
mission and discussed plans and specifications for building subways
on Broadway and avenue H. Mr. Barton stating that he would have costa
submitted at a later date:
Upon motion made by hIr. Posey, seconded by Mr. Jones, the meeting re-
cessed until a future date to tuke up other mutters.
Read and approved this day of A. D. 1928.
