The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas met at 10:00 A.M. in
called session at the regular meeting place in the City Hall in said
City, the following members thereof being present, to wit:
Mayor Pink L. Parrish, Commissioners W. S. Po ,ey, A. V. ;Deaver and
J. H. Hankins , City Manager 3. 4. McCleary, and . City Secretary
W. H. Rodgers
Absent: Commissioner J. 0. Jones
This meeting was called for the purpose of electing five new members
to the Board of City Development. The following were unanimousl)7 elec-
ted:
S. C. Arnett, H. E. mocker, C. 23. llaed�en, T. B. Dugan and C. A.
Burrus.
Upon motion made by Mr. Hankins, seconded by Mr. Posey, carried unan-
imously, the City Manager was authorized and instructed to buy an Oak-
land Six Sport Roadster for the Fire Department, purchase to be made
from Bradley Motor Company at a cost to the City of �938.40.
Upon motion made by Mr. Weaver, seconded by Mr. Hankins, carried unan-
imously, City Manager G. W. McCleary was authorized and irz tructed to
buy one new Baker Universal Turret stundpi e nozzle for use in the
Fire Department at an apyroximate cost of 185.00.
So other further business coming up for consideration before the Com-
mission, upon motion made by Mr. Hankins, seconded by Mr. Posey, carried
unanimously, the Commission adjourned.
