Lubbock. Texas, Dec. 13, 1927.
The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas met in called
session at the regular meeting place in the City Hall, at 1:00 P.M.
the following members thereof being present, to wit:
Mayor Pink L. Parrish, Commissioners J. 0. Jones, 'd. S. Posey, and
J. H. Hankins, City Manager W. McCleary and City Secretary N. H.
Rodgers.
Absent: Commissioner 'ii. S. Posey
This meetin¢ was called by Mayor Parrish to consider the purchase of
traffic signal lights. Mr. Harold E. Tobe District Representative
of P,ssco Manufacturing Company, Peoria, Il�. , being present with
sample of lights to be presented to the Commission for their consid-
eration. After consideration, upon motion made b;; Mr. Weaver, se-
conded by Mr. Jones, carried un&rjimous ly, the City Manager was au-
thorized to enter into contract with said company to purchase five
traffic signal lights at a cost of %294.00 less 511"o discount for
cash.
Upon motion made by Mr. Jones, seconded by Mr. Weaver, carried unan-
imously, the City Commission adjourned.
