EGULAR MEETING.
Lubbock, Texas, May 23, 1927.
The City Commission met at 4 P.M. in regular session recessed from May
199 1927, with the following present:
Mayor Pink L. Parrish, Commissioners A. V. 4eaver, d. S. Posey,
J. 0. Jones and J.. H. Hankins, City Secretary G. ,d. LicCle ary.
There was offered for consideration and rass&Fe by the City Commission
Ordinance entitled:

MOINES STEEL CO. , CONTRACTOR, COVERING THE FUR14ISHIN3 AND P,RiCiIORT OF A
STEEL STANDPIPE IN AND FOR THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TLXAa ; AUTHORIZING THE
DELIVERY TO SAID CONTRACTOR OF "CITY OF LUBBOCK 4AT ERWOR1:3 IARRANTSO
SP,RIES 1 OF 1927", IN rAYLIENT THZ1R::O_T"; D CLh 11119 iN IMRJ ITCY.
Said Ordinance was read in full b`,- the City Secretary and upon motion
by Mr. Posey, seconded by Mr. Jones, said Ordinance was passed.
Yeas: Commissioners Posey, Jones, Hankins and Weaver
Nays: None
Mayor Parrish then declared said Ordinance passed, being Ordinance No.
377 of record in Ordinance Book No. 1, Page 305, of the Minutes of the
City Commission.
Upon motion by hir. Hankins, seconded by Lr. Jones, carried unanimously,
the City Commission authorized that a rate of 24 cents per K AV. Hour be

made to the Texas Technological College for current.
Upon motion by Ir. Weaver, seconded by 11r. Jones, the City Comm. fission
adjourned.
