The City Commission met at 9 AM in regular session recessed from May 14th,
1927.1 with the following present:

P4ayor rink L. Parrish, Commissioners W. S. Posey, J. 0. Jones, J. H.
Hankins, and A. V. .'leaver, Jupt. of Utilities '11. H. Perkinson, and
City Secretary, G. 'd. McCleary.
Upon motion by Par. +leaver, seconded by I1r. Posey, carried unanimously
Mr. W. H. I:erkinson was appointed City Manager, at a salary of `p4000.00
per year, and the City to furnish him with a car for use in connection
with the duties of his office.
Upon motion by Mr. nosey, seconded by Tyr. Jones, City Commission recess-
ed to meet at 2 PIJ, Thursday, I,iay 19th, 1927.
