City Commission met at 3 P.M. having adjourned from January 13th with the following
present:
Mayor Pink L. Parrish, Commissioners J.O.Jones, Y.S. Posey, J.H.Hankins and A.V. Seaver,
City Manager N.H. Perkinsgn, City Attorney E.L.Klett, and City Secretary, F.W.Groce.
Absent: None.
Motion made by Mr. Posey, seconded by Mr. Weaver, carried unanimously that Commissioner
J.O.Jones and Chief of Police, T.E. May go into details whether or not left hand turns
are necessary on Texas Avenue at intersection of Mtin and Broadway and make their rec-
ommendations to the Commission.
Motion made by iir. ddeaver, seconded by Mr. Posey, carried unanimously, that the proposed
paving on Sixteenth Street be paved thirty-six (361) feet wide between curbs.
Motion made by Mr. Jones, seconded by Mr. deaver,, carried unanimously that Nineteenth
Street from `texas Avenue to College Avenue be paved Thirty-six (36') feet wide between curbs.
Motion made by Mr. cleaver, seconded by Mr. Posey, carried unanimously that Texas Avenue
be paved from Fourteenth Street to Nineteenth Street, Seventy-two (721)feet wide witha
thirty-two (32' )foot parkway.
Motion made by Mr. Posey, seconded by Mr. Weaver, that Avenue I from Eighth to Tenth Streets
be paved fifty-five (55') feet wide between curbs. All voted for this except Mr. Hankins
who voted not
Motion made by Mr. nosey, seconded by Mr. Jones, carried unanimously, that Eighth Street
between Avenue G and H be paved Fifty-five (55')feet wide between curbs.
Motion made by Mr. Weaver, seconded by Mr. Jones, carried unanimously that Avenue H from
Sixth Street to First Street be paved thirty (30') wide between curbs.
Motion ma de by Mr. Posey, seconded by Mr. Hankins, carried unanimously, that no penalty 'be
collected for failure to pay�ad valorem taxes up to March 1, 1927.

Lotion made by Mr. Hankins, seconded by Mr. cleaver, carried unanimously that the
City Commission, be adjourned.
