City Commission met in regular adjourned session dune 30, having adjourned from
dune L6th, with the following present: -
mayor, rink L. Parrish, Commissioners, a. vv. nlair, d. u cones, vv. Posey,
Superintendent of utilities, W. H. Ferkinson, City secretary, r. IV. Groce.
Absent: J. H. Hankins.
Minutes of June 26th were read and. approved upon motion made by mr. Fosey seconded
by Mr. Blair, motion carried unanimously.
Motion made by Mr. Blair, seconded by Mr. rosey that Hawley w Roberts account in
the amount of ;801.83 be allowed and ordered paid out of new sewer fund upon
Superintendent of utilities, W. H. Perkinson`s u. x.
Motion made by Mr. Jones, seconded by Mr. Posey that H. v. xobertson x Company
audit for week ending dune 26th in the amount of -�220.11 be paid, motion carried
unanimously.
Motion made by Mr. nosey, seconded by Mr. donee that all accounts and payer roll
from warrent too. A. 4925 to warrent vo. A. 5049 be allowed and ordered paid.
The question came up about the election of two men for the board of City Development
to succeed rink. L. Parrish and d. H. hankins who resigned on account of their
being elected Mayor and city Commissioner resl,ectivel77. Neil Wright and t-i. r.
Kuykendall were nominated upon motion made by Mr. Posey and. seconded by Mr. bones,
the motion carried unanimously.
Motion made by Mr. rosey, seconded by Mr. Blair that d. r•. Perry be !�rpointed on
the Board of Equalization in place of x' �. Pierce, who is not able to give the
Board of Equalization his time at the present, motion carried unanimously.
Motion made by Mr. Blair, seconded by Mr. Posey that Superintendent of Utilities,
V`1. H. Perkinson and Police Commissioner, J. 0. Jones work out details about
hiring a motorcycle Police, motion carried unanimously.
Motion made by Mr. Jones seconded by Mr. Blair carried unanimously that the City
GoMmission be adjourned in regular session until duly���, 1926.
