City Commission met in regular adjourned session at 3:30 F.M. Wednesday after-
noon, March 31st, 1926, with the following present: -
Mayor F.R. Friend, Commissioners R.W. Blair, 3eorge C. Wolffarth, J.O. Jones,
W.S. Posey and A.B. Davis, City Manager.
A motion by Mr. Posey, seconded by Mr. Blair, carried unanimously that
R.A. Holland be approved as City Tax Assessor and Collector and that he give
the City a Surety Bond in the sum of $25,000.00.
A motion by Mr. Posey, seconded by Mr. Blair, carried unanimously that
Mr. J.R. Germany's warrant for salary be held up until further instructions.
A motion by Mr. Jones, seconded by Mr. Posey, carried unanimously that a
demurrage bill of $132.00 be allowed and ordered paid.
A motion by Mr. Blair, seconded by Mr. iNolffarth, carried unanimously that
the meeting be adjourned until regular session on Thursday afternoon at 3;30
April 2nd, 1926. Said motion passed by unanimous vote.
