Sept. 25th., 1925.
City Commission met in continuation of meeting- of 24th. with the following
pre seat :
Mayor, F. R. Friend, Commissioners, R. W. Blair, Geo. C. *olfarth, T. 0.
Jones and 71. S. Posey, E. L. Klett, City Attorney and �T. S. Ruby, City ITgr
Mayor stq.ted that the object of ::he meeting was to open bids on Fuel Oil
and lubricating oil to be used by City of Lubbock for year 1925. Bids were
received by the folloving Companies.
Texhoma Oil & Refining Company.
Magnolia Petroleum Company.
Hoard & Ballinger C o .
Clifford -Bell Petroleum Co.
City Service Oil Co.
Pierce Petroleum Co.
Texas Company.
Gulf Refining Co.
Bids being tabulated, it was moved by unanimous vote that the bid of Texas
Company of .48V on the gal. for alcid was Lhe cheapest and best oil to be
used as lubricating oil. The bid of the Clifford -Bell Pet. Co. of .05L�
on the gal. on 62-36 fuel oil wa- cheapest and best bid for fuel oil.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
