The City met in special session with the following present: F.R. Friend,
J.O. Jones, W.S. Posey and Geo. C. Wolffarth.
Upon motion made by Mr. Jones and seconded by Mr. Posey the following Or-
dinance was passed by an unanimous vote:

ORDINANCE NO. 306
ORDINANCE CLOSING THE SOUTH 130 FEET
OF THE ALLEY RUNNING NORTH AND SOUTH
THROUGH BLOCK 139 OF THE ORIGINAL TO10
OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS, AND DECLARING SAME9
A MENACE AND DANGER TO THE PUBLIC SAFETY.
BE IT ORDAIIMD BY THE CITY COMISSION OF TIC CITY OF LUBBOCK-, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the south one hundred thirty (S 130) feet
of the alley ruruiing north and south through Block One Hundred -
Thirty -nine (139) in the original town of Lubb ock , Lubbock County,
Texas, be and the same is declared a menace and danger to the
public safety and is hereby forever closed; said alley ordered
closed being all that part of the alley lying between the south-
west quarter (SVr'4) and the southeast quarter (SEfl of said Block
139,
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
Passed first reading 18th day of June, 1925.
Approved, this 18th day of June, 1925.

property of the rational Incinerator Co. and they are to receive the Inter a
as it accured on the respective dates,and be returned to the National
Incinerator Company after a period of Ten (10) Years.
