City Commission met in regular session with the following present:
Mayor, 2. L�. Friend, Commissioners, J. 0. Jones, R. 4. Blair and W. S. Posey,
M. S. Ruby, City Manager and R. A. Sowder, City Attorney.
It was moved by Mr. Posey and seconded by Mr. Jones that the Commission ratify
Mr. Rub,y's actions in ordering pipe and fittings for the new well equgpment.
Mrs. J. `. Johnson, Mrs. Kimbro and Mrs. Arnett were before the City Commission
in regard to the City preparing for public parks. There being no Actionrtaken
the matter was tabled.
Upon motion made by Mr. Posey and seconded by Mr. Blair the City Secretory was
authorized to advertise for new engineat the light plant. Motion padsed by un-
animous vote.
Ordinance No. 293-A passed its first reading by unanimous vote.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
