City 0oTmission met in Special session with the following present:
Mayor, erczr 6pencer, Commissioners, Geo. C. Wolffarth, IN. S. Posey,
J. 0. Jones and H. (I. Love, and Dr. Baugh of the building committee.
The Mayor stated that the object of the meeting was to approve tie
plans and specifications pre,Rared by the architects for the new ity
Hall. ��y motion made by �'lr. ol.ffarth, seconded by Mr. Jones, the plans
, ere approved by unanimous vote.
It was, also, duly moved and seconded that the contract be let Feb.11th.,
which would consist of General onstruction,•Heating, Plumbing and Wiring.
It was moved biy unanimous vote t at the city buy a Best Tractor; $750.
cash and $750.00 a year.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.

Mayor Fercy, Commissioners, Comrriss' oners, J. ''. Jones, H. . Loge
Geo. 6. Wolffarth and W. S. Posey, R. A. Sowder, and M. S. Ruby, City Mgr.
Mayor stated that the object of the meeting was to hire Uhief of Police
for the ity of Lubbock. ME. B. A. Carter b@ing present, it was moved
by unanimous vote that the ity appoint him hief of Police with salary
of $150.00 per month.
There being Flo further business the meeting adjourned.
