The City Commissi�n met in bpecial meeting with the following present:
L.H.Simpson, Mayor-protem, Commissioners, J.O.Jones, Geo.C.Wolffarth and
W.S.Posey.
Upon motion made by Mr. Jones, seconded by Mr. Wolffarth,vote being unan-
imous, the Secretary was ordered to wire the Am. La France Fire Engine Co?
Dallas, Texas to ship the City a drive ehath for the fire truck.
Upon motion made by Mr. Posey, seconded by Mr.Wolffarth, C.S.Middleton'
resignation as Cheif of Police was accepted by a unanimous vote.
By a motion mace by Mr. Wolffarth, seconded by Mr.Jones, G.C.Hufstedler
was appointed Cheid of Folios by a unanimous vote. He to have the authority
to employ 2 policeman at the rate of $100.00 per month salary.
There being no futher business ,meeting adjourned.
