April 4th, 1921.
SPECIAL 1P,1.3LTI11G.
The City Commission met in Special meeting with the following present;
C.E. Parks, Mayor, Commissioners L.H. Simpson, Geo. C. w;olffarth, J.O. Jones
and W.S. Posey, R.A. Sowder, City Attorney and s.`:. Ruby, City Mgr.
Jake Walters, Division Eng. for the P.C. S.F. R.R. was present and the Mayor
stated that the object of the meeting was to go into some kind of an agreement
with the -Railroad Company in constructing: a drainage ditch along the ri I,t-of-
way of to d-railroad.
It -W&B'Moveid by Mr. Posey, seconded by Yr. Jones, vote being unanimous that
the City of Lub}-.oek bear 5057 of the cost of extavating a drainage ditch beinn-ling
on or about Vorth Ti-ttd Street and running southwarValong the Right-of-way of
said railroad and when completed said Railroad Company was to furnish the City
of Lubbock an itemized statement of the cost of same.
There being no futhe business meeting adjourned.
